Leaf Spring Shackle Hangers

After welding the tube was so distorted found it impossible to get the bushings to fit completely into place and stick out more than they should

Wowza, I'm surprised you were able to warp the 2" x 1/4"W tube housing. My recommendation would be to grease the OD of the bushings, pound them into place with a dead blow hammer, then grease and press the inner sleeve into the bushings. I hope that info helps!
