Door liners for 1991 YJ

When I got the package it looked great. Shipping was a little lackluster for just being across the same country (B.C.).

The product itself looks very good, the machining on both tool and delrin bushings look great.

For some reason my original hinges on my jeep had no prior bushings at all. The inside diameter was dead nuts on with the door pins, which caused abnormal wear just from time on a 30 year old jeep.

So using dial calipers, measured the pins, the bushings, and the door hinges on the body and found if I drilled the hinges out just a bit, I could use the delrin bushings. So that's what I did and it all went together ok and all is good. Doors open and close nicely after making some hinge and striker adjustments.

Would I say this was Wham, Bam, thank you ma'am? No. This was not just an in and out install for my YJ. But it also was not rocket science either. I know now that the pins have a wearable bushing I'm them now to preserve the door pins and all should be good. Thanks TMR!

Decent

They were good, but not great as I had to cut each one to custom fit as there was a stepped part on the inside of the hinge, so it only slid in halfway. Maybe on the ones for the 92’ and years similar they can be half the length. A little tricky to make a clean cut unless you have a Dremel.

Thanks for the feedback, Jeremiah. For some reason there's a batch of Jeep hinges out there that are "stepped" and don't take a full length liner. We always reference the following video for assistance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Da37pVmzxY&t=2s
