Max cut angle you can achieve with a 3” deep saw with a single pass (not removing any cut material):

  • 1-1/4" thick material - 65 degrees from a perpendicular cut
  • 1 ½” thick material – 60 degrees from a perpendicular cut
  • 1 5/8” thick material – 57 degrees from a perpendicular cut
  • 1 ¾” thick material – 54 degrees from a perpendicular cut
  • 2” thick material – 48 degrees from a perpendicular cut

    deep hole saw

    I had been looking for some deep hole saws for tube notching , and finally someone had them . Thanks it makes the difference between cutting 1/2 way through and one cut getting it done. I have already ordered more in other sizes. I have my eye on your tubing notcher.
